Install Unvented cylinder

Edward and his father completed the install of unvented cylinder within two days as promised. They did a very good job. I will definitely use them again and would also highly recommend them.

Remove old gas fire and fit a new gas fire and fireplace

Hired Edward to remove an old gas fire and fit a new gas fire and he was absolutely amazing! Genuine nice bloke, he came round to look at the job and confirmed with the manufacturers that the fire I wanted would fit and what flue was required. The job was completed in a day and they stayed late to ensure it was done. the standard of the finished article was great and I would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Fit 4 Brand New Radiators

Ed fitted 3 new radiators and removed 3 gas fires, he was punctual, polite and very tidy, very professional with his work and great communication. Would highly recommend !

My grandmother's boiler stopped working during the pandemic. Ed and the team assessed the situation and once we received the reasonably priced quote they completed the job very quickly after and to an extremely high standard. They were very efficient, clean and took all precautions necessary to ensure that my grandmother felt safe and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

My neighbours recommend 1st Avenue, as my boiler had come to its end of life. I had been ringing around for quotes for a new Valiant boiler, and Edward was the last in my list, he popped round before Christmas and had a look at my old boiler. I had been having problems and with my pressure and was not working properly. Ed not only temp fixed the boiler but gave me a very good quote. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He was clean and very respectful of my house always on time. Ed was so helpful gave me advice and I didn’t feel pressured. He was brilliant.

Edward completed a couple of jobs for us including plumbing in a new gas hob in the kitchen which required re-positioning the gas pipe. We also replaced an old radiator upstairs with two new radiators in different positions. Both jobs were completed to a really high standard with a great level of service. The price was really competitive and great value. We would definitely use the company again.

Edward originally fitted our Worcester Bosch boiler back in Nov 2017 where he also went under the floorboards to fit new gas piping for us. The copper pipe work on the boiler was installed to a very high standard and his workmanship in general is excellent. We call him back for servicing the boiler as well as any other plumbing jobs. Ed took my call on late Sunday night and Colin came out promptly to fix the leak under my sink which we couldn't seem to stop. It was sorted out and he returned the next day to fix a wonky tap too for a fixed price. Really happy with excellent service and would recommend this local company Many thanks
